About George Chirnside Furniture

George began his love affair with wood whilst in his teens, converting part of the shearing quarters on his family property into a workshop where he would create gifts for family and friends. Largely self taught, George’s passion is creating stunning pieces of furniture with timeless design that can be admired and used for future generations. All pieces are handcrafted and custom made in the workshop in Wallington on the Bellarine Peninsula. Bringing life and movement to a piece of wood that gives such pleasure to the recipient has been most rewarding knowing the pieces are being treasured in homes around the world.
