The following quotes to be attributed to Cr Trent Sullivan, Chair, Arts, Culture and Heritage portfolio:
With full event support provided by the City of Greater Geelong, this is an opportunity to engage with a wide audience and champion the creativity and innovation that makes Geelong a UNESCO City of Design.
Geelong Design Week’s 2021 theme ‘Unpredictable’ will showcase how design can turn challenges into opportunities.
The challenges from the pandemic have demonstrated our capacity to change and adapt – our economies, our business models, our education systems, our social connections.
This will be a fantastic chance to imagine a more resilient, more sustainable future for our community.
